Black-necked Stork (Jabiru)
(Ephippiorhynchus asiaticus)

This is Australia's only Stork, large pied with an iridescent neck. The male¹s eyes are brown and the female yellow. It ranges from top end of Western Australia right across the Northern Territory through Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria. It is more common in the north than in the south. Builds a nest of large sticks on treetop.
